OR Tambo en route to Hong Kong

Shanghai down heavily this morning. Don’t think China’s stock market MUST continue rising even as the economy continues growing strongly. Any “decoupling” that occurs – especially if a soggy Shanghai market results – will be due to the Mandarins in Beijing touching the brakes to ward off bubbles in the stock and property markets…

Chinese macro growth is much more secure than the stockmarket. Beijing is not afraid to “kill a chicken to scare the monkeys”…
